I am always so happy for you "wherever" you are writing...I keep in contact with S from our past TeasomeThreesome grp..she had a marvelous recent "reading" to go back to her first novel (it already won some awards when she was a student!) and get it published instead of the one she was currently working on. Something about moving into fame after the divorce not before it...who wd have known...do we ever know the spiritual plans for our books...we can love them so and when they don't get published our hearts are puzzled and some faith leaks out....
For me, I am not in Starbucks...going through a metamorphisis of higher energy and have to stay OUT of places where I pick up too much on people's energy.....and when my body settles into the new changes...my new spirit guides will have more ability to write through me...3 books have been published already from this higher realm group...not wanting to share the name..out of reverence and the fact that they aren't fully connected yet. luv always. sharon

They have oatmeal at Starbucks? Wow. Who knew?

I've heard that the change in the economy has not been good for Starbucks. Maybe they're trying new tactics for retaining customers.

Yeah... No. If someone did that to me... Well, to be honest, I'd probably be too polite to tell them to go away, but the me of my optimistic imagination would tell them to please stop interrupting my creative flow.

I am never around when free things are being given away, and so have never had to wrestle with the problem this might present! I can see, though, how irritating it would be to have someone shove a bowl of oatmeal under your nose at 4 pm. (or any time, actually). Like a mother who just wants to make you happy, when all you want is to be in your room, on your bed, listening to Nirvana, for example.

I love that guy who had to punch out early from his office at Starbucks.

LOL, I would have thrown the tea in their face and said, "Don't you realize I am writing the great American novel????" People. How you doing, Sandi? Your name came up in my google alerts and I thought I'd check out what you've been up to lately. Nice to see you're doing great and working (er...writing!) hard!

If they start playing polka music ("Just thought you might like to try something new!") then you'll know they're trying to drive you away.
