I think we now have a new benchmark to measure our amount of personal busyness, thanks to Lisa Nowak, the astronaut who flipped out and decided to murder a fellow astronaut whom she considered her love rival.

Now I’m as interested in a gruesome love triangle as the next person, but I’ve got to say that the detail that smacked me upside the head and has made me rethink my labor-saving plans was the fact that Lisa Nowak told the police she was wearing adult diapers to save time. I mean, how hectic does life have to get before you start thinking that’s a great idea?

It makes one feel almost positively mentally healthy.
